LATEST WORK
My latest work is my Wheel of the Year series - a collection of dolls representing the annual cycle of seasonal festivals, observed by a range of modern pagans, marking solar events throughout the year and the midpoints between them. There are 8 Sabbats (religious festivals) which include four solar festivals - Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Fall Equinox - and four seasonal festivals - celebrating or marking a significant seasonal change. The collection was created as I researched and explored each of the celebrations throughout the calendar year while making the dolls alongside each event.
